Most products are shipped in boxes and then in standard pallets. Most of the time, these standard pallets are shipped within standard Containers or in Goods Vehicles. Frequently, there is some extra volume and/or weight in the Containers or in the Vehicles that is charged for by the Carrier but that is not utilised by the Client. The use of this extra space through packaging software tools saves distribution costs and therefore should be an important element for all packaging designers, packaging buyers and manufacturers.

Based on this need, at Packwell we researched low cost software package to meet our needs and were so impressed that we became a UK Distributor for:- Quick Pallet Maker Program; an easy to learn case sizing and pallet loading program that allows the package designer to calculate from primary packs the secondary package dimensions and pallet loading arrangements, thus reducing shipping costs. Alternatively the program can calculate pallet loading arrangements from Case dimensions (internal or external).
